Arsene Wenger: Arsenal manager agrees two-year contract

'Arsene Who?' - Wenger remembers joining Arsenal Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has agreed a new two-year contract, extending his 21-year reign at the club. Wenger and club owner Stan Kroenke met on Monday  to determine the Frenchman's future, with the decision relayed to directors at a Tuesday board meeting. Arsenal are planning to make an official announcement on Wednesday. The Gunners were fifth in the Premier League this season, the first time they have finished outside the top four since the Frenchman joined in 1996. They finished 18 points behind champions Chelsea, but beat the Blues 2-1 to  win the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday. Wenger's contract was set to finish at the end of the current campaign. Josh Taylor promises to give Ohara Davies 'boxing lesson'

Josh Taylor and Ohara Davies were at close quarters in Glasgow on Tuesday Josh Taylor has promised to give Ohara Davies "a boxing lesson" when they fight at Braehead Arena on 8 July. Scotland's Taylor, 26, moved Davies' sunglasses as the pair faced off at Tuesday's media conference to promote their super lightweight title bout. "I wanted him to look into my eyes so I could tell him, 'I'm the man'," said Commonwealth title holder Taylor. Both super lightweights are unbeaten, with England's Davies, 25, the WBC Silver belt holder. "It's definitely my biggest fight to date but it's one I'm fully confident of winning and coming through," Taylor told BBC Scotland. "He's going to be getting a boxing lesson on 8 July." Barcelona fans have many more years to enjoy Lionel Messi, assured outgoing coach Luis Enrique after the Argentine handed his boss a successful send-off in a 3-1 Copa del Rey final win over Alaves. Messi opened the scoring and helped set up goals from Neymar and Paco Alcacer just before half-time as Alaves slumped to defeat in their first Spanish Cup final despite Theo Hernandez's stunning free-kick to level at 1-1.
